Step-by-step install guide for iOS and Android →
Full install guideCurrently in active beta on iOS and Android.
Charrd is live and being tested right now. Pick your platform below and you'll be up and running in a few minutes. If you run into anything, jump into the Discord or reach out directly.
iOS beta runs through TestFlight, Apple's official beta platform. Clean and simple.
Step 1. Install TestFlight
TestFlight is Apple's free beta app. Download it from the App Store here. If you already have it, skip this step.
Step 2. Accept the invite
Tap the invite link on your iPhone: testflight.apple.com/join/uvZapjQq. It opens in TestFlight. Tap Accept, then Install.
Step 3. Open charrd and create your account
Once installed, open the app and sign up. Head to the Map tab first and make sure you see a map with pins. Let us know in Discord if anything looks off.
Do I have to reinstall for updates?
Nope. Once you're in TestFlight, new versions update automatically whenever a new build is pushed. Nothing extra required on your end.
Android beta installs outside the Play Store, which means one extra permission tap the first time. Totally normal, totally safe.
Step 1. Open the install link on your phone
Do this on your Android phone, not a computer. Open: the Android build page and tap Install to download the APK file.
Step 2. Allow installation from unknown sources
Your phone will show a warning like "for your security, you can't install unknown apps." Tap Settings on that popup, flip on "Allow from this source," then go back and tap the downloaded file to install.
Step 3. Open charrd and create your account
Once installed, open the app and sign up. Head to the Map tab first and confirm you see a map with pins. Drop any issues in the Discord.
How do I get updates on Android?
A fresh link gets posted whenever there's a new build. Bookmark this page or keep an eye on the Discord to grab the latest version.
